The ship has a total length of 333.9 meters, a width of 48.4 meters, a maximum draft of 16 meters, and a design speed of 23 knots. This type of ship is equipped with desulfurization tower, ballast water treatment equipment, shore power system and other environmental protection equipment, and adopts a new twin-island design, which can increase cargo loading space and improve visual field performance, through the optimization of the ship's line type, the environmental protection effect of energy saving and emission reduction is further achieved, and the design characteristics of the captain and the short ship width make the ship easier to maneuver when berthing or leaving the port, and it can also flexibly pass through the Panama Canal and major ports around the world. Make route configuration planning more flexible.
Since 2020, Yangming Shipping has received 12 new ships of this series and deployed them on its trans-Pacific routes to meet customer needs and maximize space utilization. These new ships will help accelerate the rejuvenation of Yangming's shipping fleet, and also achieve the comprehensive effect of saving energy and fuel and reducing unit costs.
