It has been more than a year since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war on February 24 last year, and shipping companies have suspended all air service to Ukraine for more than a year!

recently, the shipping company Maersk announced that it would restart cargo booking to Ukraine and launch a new route to Ukraine.

Maersk said in the announcement: The logistics business in and around Ukraine is still challenging, but we are pleased to inform you that Maersk can now accept direct bookings from all over the world to Ukraine.

to this end, Maersk launched a new weekly barge service, from Port of Constanta in Romania to Port of Reni in Ukraine. This service is now fully operational, passing through the Constanta/Danube Strait and the Black Sea, with a transit time of about 1.5 days.

Maersk added in the announcement: Due to the inherent risks in Ukraine, shippers who wish to reserve a position during the weekly voyage must accept a rule that Maersk and Sealand will not be responsible for possible loss or damage to containers and goods during transportation, among other things.

last August, the United Nations supported the opening of a food transport corridor in Ukraine to establish a safe export route for the country's agricultural products.
