On March 27,, the 63600-ton series bulk carrier N1086, built by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industries, completed all navigation test projects, returned smoothly and returned triumphantly.
N1086 is independently developed by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry. As the first-line project of a series of bulk carriers independently developed, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and its personnel at all levels attach great importance to it. It has steadily promoted various node tasks such as project design, steel plate cutting, segmented assembly group and berth loading. It has strictly grasped safety and quality and improved construction efficiency. The Sheung Shui node was realized on February 6. The project has successfully entered the underwater outfitting stage from the berth loading stage.
During the system debugging phase, the project team is organized in an orderly manner, taking safety as the premise, and grasping the progress of production and debugging. Through effective measures such as responsibility to personnel, special personnel, and clear responsibility system, each system is ensured to smoothly advance the test. March 17, the ship successfully completed the tilt test, empty ship weight and center of gravity and other relevant data fully meet the design requirements. On March 21, the ship successfully realized the main motor vehicle node, and the mooring test achieved a key node breakthrough, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent scheduled trial mission.
During the trial voyage of N1086 project, the project team organized scientifically and reasonably, and implemented them one by one according to the navigation test procedures. All departments responded positively, shipowners and ship inspections cooperated fully, and the inspection items were carried out 24 hours a day. With the joint efforts of all personnel, all test data meet the design requirements and win the high recognition of shipowners and ship inspection.
