On April 25, China Shipbuilding Group's China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd. and Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. for Petredec company to build a series of 93000 cubic meters of fully cooled super large dual fuel liquefied petroleum gas ship (VLGC) the first ship "HARZAND" was successfully named and is scheduled to be delivered on April 26.


It is understood that the VLGC delivered this time is the fourth generation VLGC boutique ship type (Panda 93P) independently developed and designed by Jiangnan Shipbuilding. The ship has a total length of 230 meters, a model width of 36.6 meters and a service speed of 16.5 knots. It adopts the fourth generation patented line type (VS-Bow MK-IV) and has excellent and balanced performance under full load, ballast and liquid cargo loading conditions of different specific gravity. This type of ship is currently the world's largest VLGC ship type, the standard domestic and foreign products of the same type, in terms of ship performance has a strong competitive advantage:

The first application of independent research and development of innovative design of the rudder ball energy-saving device technology, making the ship's speed leading the international advanced water;

For the first time to achieve a low-temperature steel of the national production, a significant compression of the procurement cycle;

Ship cargo tank capacity upgrade, the structure of the net weight of only 250 tons, to ensure that the tank of the overall lifting;

Fuel endurance up to 23000 nautical miles, fuel consumption and gas consumption level ahead of the international level;

This type of ship is a typical high-tech, high-difficulty, and high-value-added ship type in the global shipbuilding market today. It has been monopolized and technically blocked by Japanese and Korean shipping companies for a long time.
