MSC launches new rail service in China

Mediterranean shipping Chongqing Orchard Port-Guangzhou Nansha Port International Class opened.

Chongqing is one of the national important central cities, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River economic center, as well as the western international comprehensive transportation hub and international gateway hub.

In recent years, Chongqing continues to attract increasingly rich logistics products to enter, whether it is the traditional Yangtze River golden waterway, or the China-Europe train and the western land and sea new channel, for Chongqing's import and export trade rapid development.


Against this background, Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) recently launched the Chongqing Orchard Port-Guangzhou Nansha Port International Train. At the same time, to provide customers with a number of export routes from Nansha, through sufficient space, the goods can be more quickly and safely transported to all parts of the world.

According to reports, MSC from Nansha export advantage route including JADE route, CONDOR route and AFRICA EXPRESS route.

Among them, the JADE route includes Nansha, Yantian, Singapore, Port Said East, Gioia Tauro, Barcelona, Valencia, with a capacity of 23000 ~ 24000TEU ships.


The JADE route is linked to MSC Terminal Valencia Terminal in Valencia Port, and at the same time, it is directly linked to Giotauro and docks at MSC Medcenter Container Terminal. The route can smoothly connect Italy, the Central Eastern Mediterranean, the Adriatic and North African ports.

CONDOR routes include Nansha, Yantian, Tanjong Parapas Port, Colombo, Felixstow, Hamburg, London, by the capacity of 17000 ~ 18000TEU type ship operation.


CONDOR route via Nansha Port, direct to Felixstow Port, via Yantian Port, priority stop Felixstow Port, while directly linked to the Port of London, can connect Nansha and trans-Pacific region, easy cargo transfer to northern European ports.

AFRICA EXPRESS shipping ports include Nansha, Singapore, Colombo, Pointe Noi, Tema, Lomé and Abidjan.
