Following Maersk's 3rd announcement to raise the Asia-Europe route FAK rate, on the 4th, Maersk and Dafei steamship official website have announced that they have decided to increase the FAK rate from Asia to multiple destinations around the world.

Dafei: Raises Asia-Nordic FAK rates

The Marseille-based Dafei Ship (CMA CGM) announced on the 4th that from August 1, 2023, the FAK rate from all Asian ports (including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh) to all Nordic ports (including Britain and all routes from Portugal to Finland/Estonia) will be increased to 1075 US dollars per 20-foot dry container and to 1950 US dollars per 40-foot dry container/refrigerator.

Effective from 1 August 2023 (port of origin loading date) until further notice:

Origin: from all Asian ports (including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh)

Port of destination: to all Nordic ports (including UK and Portugal to Finland/Estonia)

Box type: dry box, OOG special cabinet, refrigerated box and paid empty box

Cost standard: per 20 feet dry box to 1075 US dollars, per 40 feet dry box/reefer to 1950 US dollars.



Maersk: Raise Northeast Asia-Australia FAK rates

Danish shipping company Maersk will increase the FAK rate from Northeast Asia to Australia from July 31, 2023. The 20-foot cabinet will be increased to US $300, and the 40-foot cabinet and 40-foot high cabinet will be increased to US $600. The validity period will be until further notice, "but will not exceed" December 31. Specific as follows:
