Maersk, the global integrated logistics company, has opened the doors to its third warehousing and distribution (W & D) facility in Dubai, UAE, which is also its first cold storage in the country. Located in Dubai Industrial City, Maersk Cold Storage is a member of TECOM Group PJSC and has a strategic location in connection with Jebel Ali Port, Al Maktoum International Airport, direct road access to the UAE and Etihad Rail freight terminal.
Due to population growth and tourism boom, the UAE's demand for refrigerated perishable foods is on the rise, leading to increased demand for specialty foods.
