According to the freight forwarding network, OOCL in Europe-South America east coast network released a new route to further strengthen OCL in Latin America network coverage, the route will be put into operation in September 2023.

Europe South America East Coast Express (EEX)

EEX will provide direct transportation between Europe and the Brazil/La Plata River, bringing you competitive service and shipping schedule options. In order to meet the demand for refrigerated containers from the east coast of South America to Europe, the new route provides an attractive flight time from Rio de Janeiro to Rotterdam in just 16 days.

EEX affiliation order: Rotterdam-London Gateway-Hamburg-Antwerp-Lisbon-Algeciras-Santos-Paranagua-Montevideo-Buenos Aires-Itapoa-Paranagua-Santos-Rio de Janeiro-Algeciras-Rotterdam

The first flight of the route will be started by mv. XIN NAN TONG and is expected to arrive in Montevideo on September 16.
