Evergreen Shipping's July 2023 revenue up 5.8 percent month-on-month

August 9 news, Evergreen Shipping 2023 in the first seven months of cumulative operating income of NT $157.63 billion (about 5.14 billion US dollars), down 61.42 percent.


In July alone, Evergreen Shipping achieved operating income of NT $23.42 billion (about 0.75 billion US dollars), down 62.7 per cent year-on-year and up 5.8 per cent month-on-month. In short, after Evergreen Shipping's monthly revenue fell below NT $20 billion for the first time in February, it stopped falling and rebounded in March, rebounded moderately in April and May, fell slightly in June, and exceeded NT $23 billion in July.


It is worth noting that according to the latest Alphaliner data, among the top 100 global liner companies in terms of capacity, Japan's Ocean Network Shipping (ONE) surpassed EVA Shipping by 8297TEU and became the 6th liner company in the world again. EVA Shipping ranked 7th and operated 213 ships, including 126 self-owned ships, 87 chartered ships and a total cabin capacity of 1.674 million TEU. In addition, EVA Shipping also holds 72 ships, totaling 841000 TEU new shipbuilding orders.
