On September 5, Dafei Group's world-renowned international freight forwarding CEVA Logistics (CEVA) announced the launch of a new China-Central Asia trade international road transport (TIR) route, respectively in China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan and China-Pakistan corridor, the opening of road transport services.

It is reported that CEVA's China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Highway (hereinafter referred to as China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Highway) first ticket "Kashgar-Samarkand" TIR truck freight has been successfully completed.

Six trucks loaded with industrial parts, auto parts and daily necessities departed from the inland city of Kashgar in western China. After passing through Kyrgyzstan, they successfully arrived in Samarkand, Uzbekistan's second largest city, with a total distance of about 1100 kilometers.

It is understood that TIR, the International Road Transport Convention, is the international cross-border transport of goods in the field of global customs facilitation system, designed to simplify customs clearance procedures, improve customs clearance efficiency, promote multilateral trade and international transport facilitation and security.

TIR transport has a "door-to-door" "point-to-point" characteristics, the whole process does not change, not inverted, all along the customs without special circumstances, no need to open the box of goods inspection, enterprises do not need to pay the customs along the way transit guarantee, can greatly reduce logistics time and costs.

CEVA said that China-Central Asia international road transport new routes opened, will promote trade growth, and along the region to benefit.

CEVA Greater China Managing Director Zhu Yanqing further introduced: "With the success of the pilot freight, CEVA expects to provide more regular international road transport services (regular TIR) on this route, and is expected to deploy about 100 trucks per month. At the same time, it will continue to optimize the road and rail transport product mix, open direct routes, and strengthen multimodal transport capabilities."

He further revealed that CEVA will develop more from China to the West trade channel, and improve the road transport corridor along the trade resilience.

CEVA also expects that with the new road transport lines to achieve normal operation, Kashgar will become China's western land transport assembly center.

Central Asia is the main channel of the traditional Silk Road, and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan road transport corridor is a concrete case of China's "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative. The opening of the new route can effectively change the traffic pattern in western China and is expected to expand the transportation range of the Eurasian Continental Bridge.

As more and more logistics parks are located in Kashgar, the export companies that transport auto parts, finished vehicles, consumer goods and e-commerce goods will benefit from this new route.

As a result, in addition to providing international road transport solutions, CEVA continues to explore and strengthen multimodal transport solutions and, in line with regional infrastructure development, open more routes.

CEVA said that according to the plan, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway (hereinafter referred to as the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway) will be completed in 2025, and the railway will become the shortest freight route from China to the Middle East and Europe.

It is reported that the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is expected to be more than 500 kilometers, in China about 200 kilometers, in Kyrgyzstan about 250 kilometers, in Uzbekistan about 50 kilometers.

In addition, CEVA recently launched the China-Pakistan Highway (hereinafter referred to as the China-Pakistan Highway) transport route. The first five trucks loaded with 79 tons of consumer goods also used TIR transportation from Kashgar to Islamabad, Pakistan, via Hongqilap Port, with a total length of more than 1200 kilometers.

CEVA said that the opening of the China-Pakistan road transport route has further enhanced the diversity and security of the logistics corridor of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The new route will help Kashgar respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, build a national logistics hub, and realize the interconnection between Asia and Europe.

Deng Guoliang, head of CEVA's global cross-border and multimodal transport and vice president of roads and railways in Greater China, said that the official launch of the China-Pakistan road transport line has opened a new chapter in the logistics diversification of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and opened up a new path for China-Pakistan trade cooperation. With the development of new logistics channels, CEVA can provide customers with more flexible and convenient international logistics solutions.
