ONE receives the first 24000TEU class super large ship and will be deployed on THE alliance's Asia-Europe route FE3.

On June 5, ONE announced its first 24000TEU class super large container ship "ONE INNOVATION", which was named and delivered on June 2.

According to reports, "ONE INNOVATION" has a container volume of 24136TEU, which is the first of the six ships of the same type ordered by ONE. It will be deployed on THE Alliance's Asia-Europe route FE3, with the port sequence of Ningbo-Xiamen-Kaohsiung-Yantian-Singapore-Rotterdam-Hamburg-Antwerp-Southampton-Algeciras-Singapore-Yantian-Hong Kong-Ningbo.

ONE said that the "ONE INNOVATION" will help the company achieve economies of scale and significantly reduce carbon emissions through advanced ship design. The ship is also equipped with a bow windshield, energy saving devices and exhaust gas purification system to meet International Maritime Organization (IMO) emission regulations.

ONE Managing Director Yu Kurimoto said: "The ship 'ONE INNOVATION' is the largest ship in our fleet. We are working hard to reduce the fleet's greenhouse gas emissions and believe this new ship will contribute to achieving this goal."

Determined to become a leader in the decarbonization of the shipping industry, ONE has repeatedly stressed that green strategy is its development focus and the company is committed to achieving sustainable maritime transport.

According to ONE's decarbonization plan, net-zero greenhouse gas emissions will be achieved by 2050. The company has repeatedly stated that it will continue to make necessary investments in green operations in the future and cooperate with industry stakeholders.
