Yesterday (6th), by Hapg-Lloth, ONE, HMM and Yangming Shipping composed of the THE Alliance announced that its Asia to Trans-Pacific-West Coast route network will change.

THE Alliance said that it will suspend the US-West PS5 route and will update the existing PS3, PS6 and PS7 routes. This change will take effect from August until further notice.

The following are route adjustment details:

1. PS5 route: suspended

2. PS3 route: add Tokyo port

Adjusted PS3 route call port sequence is as follows:

Nhava Sheva - Pipavav - Colombo - Port Kelang - Singapore - Cai Mep - Haiphong - Yantian- Los Angeles/Long Beach - Oakland - Tokyo (new) - Pusan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou -Singapore - Port Kelang - Nhava Sheva

3. PS6 route: increase Shanghai port and cancel Busan port

Adjusted PS6 route call port sequence is as follows:

Qingdao - Shanghai - Ningbo - Los Angeles/Long Beach - Oakland - Kobe - Qingdao

4, PS7 route: increase the call to Busan Port

Adjusted PS7 route call port sequence is as follows:

Singapore - Laem Chabang - Cai Mep - Hong Kong - Yantian - Pusan (new) - Los Angeles/Long Beach - Oakland - Hong Kong - Singapore
