Last week, Taiping Shipping (PIL) a ship named "Kota Bistari" container ship left Chittagong Port, Bangladesh, Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) seized!

As to the reason for the seizure, it was alleged that the Kota Bistari ship's three containers were damaged.

It is understood that the Kota Bistari ship was originally scheduled to sail for Singapore at noon last Wednesday (July 20), but because the container was damaged, an importer filed a lawsuit demanding PIL to compensate for its losses, so the Kota Bistari ship was ordered by the court to be seized and unable to sail.

Ahsan Habib, Senior Manager of Operations, Logistics and SOC Marketing of Pacific Shipping (Bangladesh) Limited, confirmed that at present, the Kota Bistari ship carrying outbound containers has been sent to Chittagong outer anchorage and will remain there until the problem is resolved.
, he said, is currently with the prosecution of the party to negotiate to find a solution.

He pointed out: "We successfully unloaded the ship's damaged three containers."

Habib meanwhile said that since the ship was detained last Thursday (July 20), all unresolved issues have not been resolved, indicating that they cannot handle the suspension or leave court order, which prohibits ships from sailing.

"We hope that these problems will be resolved in one or two days and that the container ship can again set sail on Sunday."

Data from the big ship show that Kota Bistari is still stranded in Chittagong (Chittagong). The cargo on board involves many shipping companies, including PIL, Maersk, Dafei, COSCO Shipping, Hapco, ONE, HMM, OOCL, ANL, CNC and GOLD STAR LINE.
